Os dias estão ficando mais curtos e o inverno é a melhor época para cuidar da pele, especialmente para minimizar os danos do foto envelhecimento.

Tipos de manchas:

Sardas: são manchas castanho-claras ou escuras de 2 a 4mm de diâmetro, que surgem após a exposição UV e principalmente após a queimadura solar. Mais comuns em indivíduos de pele clara, cabelos loiros e ruivos. Atinge principalmente a face e membros superiores. Acentua-se no verão e melhoram no inverno.

Melanose solar ou senil: é originada por uma ação acumulativa da luz solar na pele, após a terceira e quarta década de vida. São manchas de até 1,5 cm de diâmetro, castanhas, aparecem no dorso das mãos, antebraços e face.

Melasma ou cloasma: ocorre na face, na maioria das vezes em mulheres com mais de 25 anos, após a gravidez ou terapia hormonal. Podem ocorrer também em jovens que nunca estiveram grávidas ou que nunca receberam hormônios e também em homens.

Os dermatologistas costumam prescrever diversos tipos de ácidos clareadores para minimizar as manchas e como preparação da pele para o peeling, que é o processo de descamar ou esfoliar a pele.

A preparação da pele começa algumas semanas antes e inclui uma boa hidratação, a eliminação ou redução de manchas preexistentes e diminuição suave da espessura da camada córnea, que é conseguida com a aplicação de cremes à base de ácido retinóico e hidroquinona. Tanto na fase de preparação como no pós peeling a fotoproteção é essencial, com um fotoprotetor mínimo de FPS 30.

Intensidade do peeling

Superficial:

É o realizado na camada mais externa da pele, a epiderme e em intervalos que variam de uma semana a 15 dias, numa série de 5 peelings. Em geral não acontecem complicações.

Médio:

Remove parcial ou totalmente a epiderme, atingindo a parte superficial da derme.

Profundo:

Remoção da epiderme é total e atinge até o nível médio da derme. Apresenta riscos maiores de complicações. O peeling profundo costuma ser dolorido e a pessoa fica impedida de sair de casa por uns 3 a 4 dias por causa da descamação intensa. É bom você se informar com seu dermatologista.

Tipos de peeling

Químico:

São utilizados produtos químicos que promovem a esfoliação da pele. Os produtos mais comumente utilizados são: Ácido retinóico, Ácido glicólico, Ácido tricloroacético, Ácido salicílico, Pasta de resorcina, Ácido pirúvico e Fenol.

Mecânico:

É o chamado peeling de cristal e consiste numa microdermoabrasão da pele com cristais, provocando remoção de células mortas e levando ao surgimento de uma pele mais brilhosa. É utilizado no tratamento de cicatrizes de acne, estrias, manchas e para dar viço à pele. É uma técnica antiga que ganhou novo nome.

Laser ou luz pulsada:

O Quantum é uma luz intensa e não um laser, é utilizado para remoção de manchas e vasos na face. Tem muito bons resultados para manchas senis, manchas no pescoço e melasma.

O laser utilizado para eliminar manchas são: Argônio, DYE Corante, Rubi. O laser não é indolor e dependendo do procedimento requer algum tipo de anestésico.

Qualquer procedimento para minimizar a manchas deve ser prescrito e realizado por médicos, dermatologistas. O ideal é que sejam membros da Sociedade Brasileira de Dermatologia ou Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Dermatológica.
